Bubbles the Blind Beagle is using his cute and friendly personality to combat bullying in schools. Bubbles was born with cataracts over his lenses which caused his pupils to never develop. What we may view as a disability, Bubbles has used to teach students that it is ok to be different while teaching compassion, empathy and kindness.
As a recent Freely Fund recipient, Websticker donated stickers to Bubbles’ anti-bullying campaign to help promote compassion, empathy and kindness. While stickers may seem like a small gesture, they can go a long way in boosting a child’s self-esteem and showing them that they are valued. Plus who would not want a cute sticker with Bubbles’ face?
