Interesting fact: Websticker was online selling stickers before Google was born. And, long before all of the current “custom stickers” companies that rank on page 1 of Google. But, we had a great ride on page-1 ourselves back in the 2000’s. Oh, to see that stream of new custom decal stickers customers flowing again. Algorithm changes and increased competition have left small companies like Websticker scrambling. Back in the day we were one of the very few online companies, focused exclusively on the design and production of custom decal stickers. We’ve tried to keep up with the times; hiring SEO experts, cleaning up and rebuilding our website (which naturally grew over time), adding blogs and informative content, adding third party reviews and becoming active with social media. The results? Almost everything we have done has not resulted in any substantial ranking recovery. Unfortunately.
Luckily, we have a strong customer base and sticking with our focus on sticker design, quality, marketing and customer service pays off and keeps the custom decal stickers and custom labels rolling off the presses. Google may view custom stickers as just another commodity these days, but we’ll stick with our mission of creating and selling low-cost marketing tools for businesses and individuals. That said, there are always things we can do better and we continue to listen to our clients… and to Google.
