For any business it makes sense to continually review your identity and mission and make sure that your website, ad copy, guarantees, logos, etc. all properly reflect your place in an ever evolving and changing business landscape. Do you stand out in the crowd? Is it extremely clear what makes you unique and how you can help customers solve a problem or enhance their business or lives?
At Websticker we periodically redesign our website, introduce a new logo and update our mission statement. Market conditions change, philosophies change, products change, the competition changes… and it is important to adjust a business identity along with those changes.
We’ve been in business marketing, designing and manufacturing custom stickers for over 30 years. In that time there have been name changes, different slogans, staff changes and many adjustments to how we showcase what makes us different and of benefit to our market. Here’s an example of our latest changes.
Changes don’t need to be earth shattering or ignore past incarnations. Our goal with the mission statement was just to be more succinct, easy to understand and better reflect what we stand for. In the case of our logo, we wanted to get away from the “.com” which improperly reflected us as a strictly online sales outfit (like most of our competition) as opposed to the personal, hands-on marketing firm that we are. The green orb also gives us an icon that we can incorporate in other mediums to better reflect and support our identity.
I personally love discussing identity, logos, slogans and mission statements. Most companies don’t need a big advertising or design firm to strengthen their identity. At Websticker we have helped affordably design hundreds of logos. I am available on a limited basis for identity work (I prefer working with just one client at a time in this capacity). Let me know if you’d like to set up a time to brainstorm or fill out our Logo Design Brief.
