Companies That Take a Passionate Stand Are Ideal Clients

Ideal customers have something interesting and strong to stand for.Companies should not only be continually reviewing their goals and mission, but also their ideal customers that best fit those goals and mission. In this way marketing and sales efforts can be better optimized and targeted. Makes sense. But, for companies to succeed these days they also may need to take a passionate stand and shout it from the rooftops… or perhaps the back of their car.

I’ve been reading Company of One by Paul Jarvis and love his thoughts on the cost of neutrality:

“The best marketing is never just about selling a product or service, but about taking a stand – showing an audience why they should believe in what you’re marketing enough to want it at any cost, simply because they agree with what you’re doing.”

At Websticker our ideal customers are individuals or independent businesses with something more to say than just, “this is my product… do you need one?” We prefer to work with and grow relationships with businesses willing to stand up and stand out with their passions and beliefs. These bold businesses are also our best customers. They also have the most interesting things to say that can spread via word of mouth.

Back to Company of One with Paul Jarvis for a moment…

“Taking a stand is important because you become a beacon for those individuals who are your people, your tribe, and your audience. When you hoist your viewpoint up like a flag, people know where to find you; it becomes a rallying point. Displaying your perspective lets prospective (and current) customers know that you don’t just sell your products or services. You do it for a specific reason.”

These companies are our ideal customers because they are the most likely to understand and take advantage of the power of promotional stickers. Stickers can be the tool that amplifies, displays, and hoists that flag of culture and identity. Simply, if a company or organization has something unique and powerful to communicate to their people and prospects, custom vinyl stickers can (and should) be a very powerful part of that campaign.
