1) Customer Relations – Promotional stickers can be a gift, a badge… a way for your fans and customers to show off their individuality. By offering them a sticker that fits into their lifestyle and culture, you solidify your position as something that matters in their life.  Even if customers don’t choose to display your badges, you have still made the connection and reminded them your business is there and you care. Properly designed and executed, you are giving something of mutual value to both parties.
Examples: Apple stickers that are included with any Apple purchase; Membership stickers for non-profit organizations; College/School window stickers…
2) Exposure – Promotional stickers, such as custom outdoor stickers, that are displayed can potentially be seen by thousands of people. And, that exposure now goes way beyond cars out on the road – stickers are increasingly used on laptop computers, phones, water bottles, helmets and many other items people choose to personalize. Promotional stickers are the original social media – they are a thumbs up / endorsement being broadcast to the world.
Examples: Political campaign stickers; Logo stickers for popular brands or resorts; Stickers promoting special events (before and after event)…
3) Word Of Mouth & Community – Stickers (graphics & messages) that are seen will, of course, also be talked about. Questions will be asked, opinions shared, impressions made. And, for those that share a similar interest, opinion or affinity, connections are made and supported. Stickers support both the building of buzz and the building of community.
Examples: Stickers for fans of a band (like Grateful Dead dancing bears); Euro stickers that promote certain locations (like OBX); Cultural stickers (like peace signs and flags).
These three important marketing ingredients, done well, add up to a stronger organization and community of customers and fans. More visibility, more recognition, more trust, more conversations, more community… translates into more sales, profitability and support for your brand, product, organization or message.

Promotional Stickers Makes branding easy!
Stickers are a fun and inexpensive way to spread your message or brand to your target audience!
Not every business can use promotional stickers, just like not every business should have magnetic signs on their cars. But when they work — based on some sort of research — they can be very engaging. I particularly like the “choose the right sticker and place it on the response card” type stickers. These have been used for years and still work!
Why can’t every business use promotional stickers? And, how can it hurt for a business to have magnetic signs? Many, of course, choose not to but I think it would be tough to argue that either vinyl stickers or magnetic signs don’t increase exposure and impressions for any business.
My favorite reason to have stickers – branding!
