Best Sticker Designs – Staff Picks

We thought it would be fun to have the Websticker Stowe staff pick out a few of their favorite stickers from the last year. Here are the sticker picks along with brief reasons why the designs were chosen.

Brian’s Sticker Picks

I chose the Lazy Dog Adventures sticker because who doesn’t love dogs, the beach and following your passion in paradise. It also is an excellent example of effective die cutting and use of full color digital printing.

I chose the Spotless Carwash sticker, because I like the logo, and it goes to show that even a business as simple as washing cars can utilize stickers for promotion and marketing.

Lesley’s Sticker Picks

I like that the Vermont State Parks did a special sticker for their 100 year anniversary! I think it is a great way to help celebrate and keep momentum going for State Park support. I also love the die cut trees; how can you not like the trees?!

WNRN – I like that the designer was clever in making their sticker a guitar pick shape which further connects the sticker to the music community.
Printing back copy also allowed them to include additional info about their independent radio station and a QR code leading their community to more music opportunities. Stickers spreading good design, good information and connecting people. Win-win.

Custom postcard stickers and sticker business card made by WebstickerJeff’s Sticker Picks

I chose a sticker postcard that we did for Websticker because I believe custom sticker postcards are one of the most effective marketing mediums in the world for their low-cost. Multiple affirmation stickers are a gift that supports the promotion and different options increase chances of something resonating with the recipient. A 100% open rate (as there’s nothing to open) and back printing sure to be given a quick read which makes this type of sticker sheet extremely effective.

My other pick is a promotional card for FlowStir. A couple of intriguing stickers on the front of a small business card sized sticker and back copy that explains Daily Stirs and a QR code that will take people directly to that day’s Stir. There’s a lot of promotion packed in a little convenient sticker card.

Chris’s Sticker & Magnet Picks

I selected this Massif sticker hang tag because I appreciate how the company includes positive and inspiring messages on all of their clothing.  And who would not want to receive one of these when buying their products??!

For my second pick I love how Penzy’s “Care” Magnet draws inspiration from a child’s artwork. Even more significant is its message, reminding us to take a moment and extend a helping hand to others on our journey. These are a great example how stickers and custom magnets can be used effectively as gifts and products that enhance other offerings without the need to advertise or brand.

  1. I wanted to be sure you knew how powerful our sticker campaign was last year. While our postcard mailing did have some challenges, our members LOVED getting stickers in the mail, and really appreciated the messaging we attached- the idea that we were saying “thank you” for their membership, that we encouraged them to show off their association with PSIA-AASI. At PSIA National Academy, the effect of this campaign was obvious- the stickers were everywhere- on car windows and roof boxes, on water bottles and helmets. At the ASAE (American Society of Association Executives) conference last summer, our campaign using Websticker was cited as an example of how an association can interact with their membership (at a low cost) with sizeable impact on member satisfaction. Thanks!
