Low Cost Repetitive Marketing Examples – Prepare, Promote and Profit

custom stickers are an excellent example of marketing repetition & low cost marketing. Most business people know that just doing one ad in the newspaper or on the radio isn’t going to help you much. It takes marketing repetition to be recognized and for your message to not only be noticed but to sink in. In radio it might be 5-8 ads per day for several weeks. In Newspaper it may be 6-20 times in a certain publication. This is definitely not in the category of low cost marketing.

The problem is that each ad costs money and it can take a sizable investment to even discover if your advertising marketing message is resonating with your market. Many people will hesitate in making the advertising investment or bail out early thinking “it’s not working”. In order to get the most out of repetition marketing investments, obviously you want to prepare with strong and effective layouts and messages.

Promotional stickers are no different in regard to preparation – It is important to invest in the right message and sticker design layout. The difference comes in the ongoing costs of marketing repetition. With stickers after the initial investment is made there are no recurring fees for the repeated exposure you get from the display of a well done promotional sticker. Working on the right message and layout, and planning how you will distribute the stickers and connect with your customers can pay off handsomely in word-of-mouth and free low cost marketing. Custom stickers are an excellent example of low cost marketing repetition.

Custom promotional stickers can be mini billboards out on the road building your identity and starting conversations. A real roadside billboard would cost you thousands per month but with proper preparation a promotional sticker can be the marketing tool that keeps on giving with no recurring fees after the initial low cost marketing investment. Just remember it is still an investment. Don’t go “cheap” and make sure you get help from marketing and design professionals that understand it’s more than just a fun “sticker”, it’s an advertisement, it’s a marketing tool, it’s your identity, and it’s a badge for your fans and customers. It can be one of the best repetitive marketing examples.

Or… you could go cheap and risk it being just a sticker that ends up being ignored and in the trash, missing the opportunity for ongoing, effective long term marketing.

Here’s a good post I read about marketing repetition
