Don’t let the ease of creating and executing a sticker campaign make you complacent! Even in its simplicity, there are ways to make your efforts more effective. Here are some simple hacks you can implement at various stages of the sticker design process that will help enhance your sticker campaign success.
Add Calls to Action
Before you distribute your stickers, you need to understand what you would like those stickers to accomplish. Do you want to increase brand exposure? Distribute a coupon code for people to use? Increase your sales? If so, then the sticker should be designed to maximize your desired result. In essence, your sticker should have a “call to action” that will encourage people to respond how you’d like. If the action is clearly defined, it will boost the success of your sticker campaign.
Print On The Sticker Back
Are you utilizing the back of stickers? If not, you should be! For example, this is a great place to put the “call to action” that we mentioned above. It is also an ideal spot to include your contact information, coupon codes, your website address, and even tips for distribution! Not using the back of the sticker or sticker sheet is like leaving half of a billboard that you paid for completely blank. Taking advantage of all the resources you have at your disposal will make your sticker campaign a winner!
Stick Them Yourself
Have you given it any thought as to where you’d like your stickers and decals stuck? Remember, you can control some of the locations where your stickers are found. Take full advantage of this because it’s an excellent way to get the word out about your business.
By placing stickers in locations that you control, such as on the packaging of your products, you increase your brand’s visibility amongst your choice audience. This is also known as “claiming your real estate.”
Improve the Sticker Design
Your sticker design needs to resonate with your audience. If they don’t connect with your stickers, it will be hard to get them to “pass and play.” Though it’s important for you to stick them in meaningful places, in a lot of ways, the success of the sticker campaign can be measured by how others respond to the design. If they’re excited to stick them on their personal property or pass them along to others, this is a good indicator that the sticker campaign is on its way to being a successful one.
Stimulate Engagement
What if people aren’t using or displaying your stickers? Well, there could be several reasons. You may need to go back to the drawing board and tweak the sticker designs a bit. You can even ask your customers what they think of the design. Another factor could be that recipients may need incentive to start using the stickers. For example, you can run a contest where people stick them in creative places, take a photo, and send it in. Contests such as these are a fun way to stimulate engagement.
Even if you created a plan before you executed your sticker campaign, it may not have been enough. If you notice that people aren’t responding to your stickers in the way that you had hoped, you can try making these adjustments to help boost your sticker campaign results.
